It was a nice day for Pat and Kim to visit from Miramichi, its been awhile since I seen Kim but
Pat dropped in on Sunday with another friend.  Always nice to see my friends arrive and enjoy a day
of shopping, lunch at a restaurant which today was Homestead and a little visit to a few of our local
stores .

Girls filled the trunk, lol  no sense going home empty handed, lol

I did go to WW this morning early, seem to be holding my own but hopefully the losing will start
again.

Anyway that's it till more news to pass on........till then....

A visit from Cathy

Cathy and Pat 2018

church bulletin

Pat 1968

Cathy 1968

Mary Jayne 1968

Cathy wrote that she was headed to Moncton and knowing I could not attend the mass in Saint John the Baptist Church last Sunday wanted to bring me a  pewter ornament of our church we grew up in and married in.  I was so happy Cathy thought of me and the chance to see her again.

Its 50 years since Graduation but we have known each other since grade school and Mary Jayne a life time so being able to keep in touch with these gals and others especially through facebook has been a
blessing.  Unfortunately I cannot attend the reunion but I am going to Saint John to have lunch with
Mary Jayne for sure.  Cathy is attending her sons wedding here in Moncton that weekend but since her son is living here I hope to see more of Cathy in the years to come.

Thanks so much Cathy....You never forget.

Graduation for Trent

The graduation was at the Casino, a great place for the grads and families to see their children graduate.  Susan was able to get tickets for the family to attend and friends came to her rescue for
extra tickets.

It was a long evening for the grads , 280 graduates... 2 valedictorians , 2 people got 120,000 bursaries  over 4 years.....many other scholarships given as well.

Only one more grad for us to see graduate, Garret in 2 years time.

Guest speaker was Cyril Lunney from CTV. Cyril graduated from Riverview High in the  80's .
He was an excellent speaker.

A visit to Saint John

Malcolm and I went to Saint John for a visit to his brothers, a visit from Tessa, Mal's great
niece and then over to see my aunt Marg.

Marg will be 91 in September and still in great health but after a few falls is now living
at "A moment in Time" care home.  It took some adjusting but I feel now she is getting use
to her new home but would love to be with her sister at Rocamora Nursing home but her
health is actually too good to go there.

Marg loves to see us arrive for a visit and I love to see my Mom's youngest sister who
always treated me like a daughter.

The picture in the top is of the south end and the church is where Mal and I were married
48 years ago.  They are closing the church soon which is sad but I got a message from an
old friend I went through school with that she got me a pewter ornament of St John the Baptist
church and delivering it today.  I am so glad Cathy thought of us.  Also like to see her for a visit.
Its 50 years since we graduated  but we started in grade school together in grade 1.
