Fundy Trail Parkway

more stairs today

beach

along the ground

the falls

great view

colourful insect moving along

wild roses were everywhere

This was the first part of the trail leading down to the flower pots, Kate came along today and
enjoyed the trail as much as we did.  St Martins has certainly grown a lot since we have been there
and today the town was buzzing as it was old home week.

The falls

These were the stairs leading to the falls and I climbed them without a problem but with a few stops along the way.lol  They were actually pieces of wood that moved as you stepped on it. lol

The falls were so pretty and just wished we could have stood under them.

interpretive center

lots of historic photos of the community of big salmon river.  The also showed a film of the area of
the wood mill etc.... The moose in picture  is called Mitch after Mitch Franklin who had the dream to see this project through years ago.  My parents both worked for Mitch Franklin and Malcolm's great aunt dated him years ago. (He could have been a relative). lol

Suspension Bridge

It was 84 m and we had to cross over it.  A max of 10 people at a time.  of course Malcolm
got it shaking a bit as we crossed.  One lady had to carry her good size dog over.  You see
another dog very anxious to hit the water by the bridge and he enjoyed a great swim.  kids also were
taking advantage of a swimming hole.

The beach

Reminded me of the Alma beach where there was always a log to sit on and look out at the tides coming in and out , I used to find it so peaceful sitting down there and thinking or writing as many people did.  Lots of people were on this beach walking about.

A great way to spend the day......
