Fundy Park and Alma

See the zip liners, one person stopped the operator  when to get them.

many stairs

The red chair for Pat

A great day in Fundy Park to celebrate Susan's 46th birthday.  We walked 2 trails, Dickson Falls and Herring cove beach. Lots of stairs to climb but I did it and was not to far behind them all the way. lol

Went around the park, lots of people around on a lovely summer day, many doing the trails. Found a
lot more restaurants have opened since we had the cottage in Alma which I still miss in summer but
many of the people we know have left the area but a few remain.

Of course we stopped at Kelly's bake shop for sticky buns and yes I did indulge with 1 and it was
delicious.  Ate at a little café which was once the liquor store, than a lobster pound and now a cute
café with outdoor seating looking out onto wharf but a little on the pricey side.

On our way home we took the other route leaving Alma and headed for Cape Enrage , now as I remember it we drove up , parked and walked to light house, looked over the patio to the rocks and beach and now they have added zip lining to the adventure of course at a nice price which we didn't even check out but to park there was 20.00 for family. A little steep I would say and 15.00 to enter Fundy Park which has a lot more to see and do.  But you pay it or keep driving. lol

Last but not least we watched for the shoe tree.  Here it is but with leaves on the tree hard to see the shoes but they are there and many shoes are on the ground around it.  The shoes use to hang from another tree with no leaves on it, a storm destroyed the tree last year but they picked another tree in the area for the shoes. Last but not least the haha cemetery....been around a long time.

It was a great day..
