Trent gets his first new car

Trent was so excited to receive the keys to his new Volkswagen Golf, 2020 with 6,000 km on it.

He could not wait to show the family and friends his car after fighting every morning with the vehicle he
Had been driving for 3 years and boosting every morning all winter. Neighbours loved seeing him and Rob every morning out the frint window.

Good luck Trent with the new wheels, be careful, be safe. Nanny and Grampie

Wishing Malcolm Jr a very happy 50 th birthday today.  Seems like yesterday that we were learning how to change diapers, make formula with Carnation milk and corn syrup , teaching him as we learned ourselves being 21 yr old parents.

Have a super evening with a few friends as they tease you on hitting the 50th....

1 year today Covid hit New Brunswick

One year ago today covid hit Saint John, New Brunswick.

we were in Myrtle beach a year ago giving thought to leaving on advice of family and a few people thought we were crazy even considering packing up but with8n days those people were packing up too.

Most insurance companies were giving people 10 days to get home.  We went into quarantine for 2 weeks, family getting our groceries and leaving in garage for us to collect, preparing our masks to wear out to places we planned to go to, buying toilet paper wherever we found it and definately sanitizer. Now a year later we are still buying sanitizer and everyone are buying fancy masks for everyday wear and holidays.

Today shots are beginning to roll out according to your age, most nursing homes have had their second shots. Today they said people 85 up can book appointments with the pharmacy they deal with. BUT do not call till your age group comes up.

We received our first vaccine April 1sr at George dumont hospital.

Mac and pats 50th anniversary

Well we spent a week celebrating our day, had a family dinner at Fred’s restaurant and returned to the house for a cake which had the original wedding top

We received some lovely gifts from family and friends and got to see our maid of honour and best man that weekend Mary Jayne Lowe Tucker and George MacKenney

These are two gifts received, first one from pat Daley, long time friend and just so happened that Pat and Kenneth were married the same day as us, same year.

Second gift a memory box from my maid of honour and Boyd, first thing that went in were our beautiful cards.  We also got money from from the kids, gifts cards from Edna and Reed and Lois and Dave, long time friends as well and an orchid from friends Bill and Sandy.

On the actual day of our anniversary we went to St Andrews , N B.  And was accomplied by friends Paula and Laurie and Bella and we enjoyed a great weekend, great meals, shopping and golf and of course sequence and then they surprised us with a cake and gift, picture of the four of us together taken in Myrtle Beach which now becomes a memory for us all as no entrance to USA with covid still very active in the states.  We are all in for a winter wonderland in our home

It was a great 50 years and thank you all for the well wishes by so many on Facebook. Dreams do come true.

Grad continues with the Cormier family

Graduation during a pamdemic

We really didn’t expect it to happen but I must say the school put on a great time for the students, one they actually will always remember through their lifetime.

Garret wasn’t sure what to expect put when he went up in that stage it made us all proud of him and I think he felt it too.

Of course this year we didn’t get grad prom pictures, but overall he enjoyed time with friends at a get together of a few people.
