One year ago today covid hit Saint John, New Brunswick.
we were in Myrtle beach a year ago giving thought to leaving on advice of family and a few people thought we were crazy even considering packing up but with8n days those people were packing up too.
Most insurance companies were giving people 10 days to get home. We went into quarantine for 2 weeks, family getting our groceries and leaving in garage for us to collect, preparing our masks to wear out to places we planned to go to, buying toilet paper wherever we found it and definately sanitizer. Now a year later we are still buying sanitizer and everyone are buying fancy masks for everyday wear and holidays.
Today shots are beginning to roll out according to your age, most nursing homes have had their second shots. Today they said people 85 up can book appointments with the pharmacy they deal with. BUT do not call till your age group comes up.
We received our first vaccine April 1sr at George dumont hospital.
