Kodi and Vincent arrive Myrtle beach

 

A great evening at Greg Normans last night , an evening we all enjoy and it was nice

to have Vincent along with us.... Very nice boy and you can tell how proud Kodi is of his son.

 

For the first time in my life I order Ravoli and it was delicious, I won't hesitate again to have it.

 

Laurie flew to Toronto for a conference this morning early, back Sunday and then it will be time to start packing up for everyone.

Who needs the beach when you got this beautiful spot in your backyard., lol  actually Anitha ,Rama and Nirupama were
down to beach earlier and it was packed so they returned after a walk on the beach.

It is countdown now for us so a few days of this weather at the pool is sure a way to relax and we are taking advantage of it for sure. 

Walk along the boardwalk

A sunny day so a walk along the boardwalk was a good choice and feeling a breeze off the water. You just never know the sights you will see down there.

We looked at the menu's for lunch and quickly decided we would head up the road to Spring House where you get a soup and sandwich for 5.99 and a dessert to boot.

Up Up and away, lol well I think I thought I was off and away.....oh whow had no idea of

the feeling when you got to the top and looked out through the glass head to toe.  Yes I kind of had some panic hit me, then Paula noticed and said just look at me which eased the rest of the journey.

It was an experience for sure and you could see as far as the eye could see but ask me to go again and the answer is NO..... lol  once was enough and I can say I did it but Mr Mac would not attempt it.

Gary looked across the street at another ride but soon changed his mind after seeing it in action and how high it went.

Lifetime Friends reunite

Its been 10 years since we seen each other but it was like it was yesterday to see Mary Jayne again.

Oh it was fun to talk about old times and I have to say I think Boyd is like Malcolm, he just enjoys hearing the stories of our childhood and some of the trouble we got in.  We really needed a lot  more time to talk about the good old south end  but it won't be 10 years again till we meet for sure.

This was our first time meeting Boyd and it was like we knew him a lifetime, great guy and so glad

Mary Jayne found him.  (He was having a hard time hearing her called Mary Jayne), but that's what we always called her and believe it or not her name is Mary Margaret and I am Patricia Margaret.

Charleston

It could not have been a more beautiful day for Charleston so off we went at 7:30 am, forgot about the people still working so did get in a few line ups.

Our first stop was boone plantation and even though I was there a few years ago on a bus trip I really enjoyed it even more with as much time as we wanted to see everything.

Films such as North and south, the Notebook, and Queen shot scenes from this plantation.  Paula bought a sweetgrass wall wreath and the lady signed it for her and dated it.  She then allowed us to take a picture with her.

Today I am waiting on the arrival of my childhood best friend Mary Jayne, can't wait to see them arrive.

You would think I was a little on the short side.  I will have you know I have no problem tieing my shoes. lol

Well we welcomed Laurie's brother to Myrtle beach, this is Gary's second year of coming, funny

how once people come once they see why we keep returning.

Tomorrow we are off early in the morning to take Gary and Paula down to Charleston, Gary

didn't get there last year and really wants to see it and we wanted to return again and visit the Boone

Plantation.  Mac wants to return for lunch to the little restaurant we found last year that make the best fish and chips.  So no blog tomorrow.

Easter Sunday

The easter bunny arrived at the door and our easter bunny was off early early this AM.

Had a great laugh when we received this picture of Nirupama as the cupcake bunny, Good easter laugh.

I met the bunny on our way out and had to stop to snap a picture, lucky I had camera with me. He was at a local restaurant doing an easter egg hunt for the little ones.
