rest of our christmas 2018

Well I finally can download my pictures on my ipad but they are not in order, lol but it was a great Christmas with family and friends .

We celebrated Christmas with friends for seafood casserole on the 23rd, was a great evening and on Christmas eve the kids went to Rob's parents on Christmas eve and we dropped over with the baskets
when they got home, a few laughs at a couple of items I put in the baskets.  Think next year we will change to a new idea after many years but the older they get the harder it is to do.

Christmas day we had dinner here, I added a little candle a good friend Kim gave me to the table and
all through Christmas she was on my mind as her family suffered the  great loss of their son in law just 2 days before Christmas, he was only 31.  My heart goes out to them and can't imagine what they are going through.

Spent some time with my neighbours and their children, Malcolm's brother and family , my aunt and friends so it was what Christmas is all about. Family and friends and helping others .

christmas 2018

Malcolm

Got my new phone from Telus and love it, Susan and Trent helped me get set up.

It began this week with lunch with the birthday girls, Sheila, Rosina and Bev, we shared laughs
and cards with a littl

e sweet thrown in by Sheila from 1000 villages.  We went to Vito's, looking across at the branch the girls gave of themselves for many years,  A great time.

Then it was on to Saint John later in week to visit my aunts and Malcolm's brother George and Mickie and their sweet granddaughter Tessa and her mother Stephanie.  Mickie brought out the
sweets she made lemon squares and a cranberry upside down cake.  delicious.

sweets and they were delicious,  Of course we had a stop at Titus's, and first thing they said was "how are things in Moncton".  Think they remember us.  lol

Susan Kate and I went out for a great day shopping and stopped into McCarthurs flower shop
for a visit with Mr and Mrs Clause .  Another beautiful display this year and a perfect Santa, he was so friendly  to everyone and the children loved him.  Mrs Clause was close behind him. lol

Another night we went to Metrotones at Wesleyan Church, 1800 in attendance.  they collected 2 tons of food for food bank and gave 12,000 to local soup kitchens etc . Then another over 2,000 for cereal from audience contributions.  We went with Bill and Sandy and Anna and Dave and had a lovely dinner at Anna and Dave's before hand, thank you both.  We met a few people we knew there.

I always enjoy getting together with family and friends during the month.  '

We also stopped in to Cardiac Rehab to see the girls last Friday as they celebrated 10 years of service
It was so good to see them all.
