Well I went on computer today, I know its been awhile but we have dealt with covid the past few years and looks like it may be calming down to some extent even though we know it will be around a long time .
Yesterday we celebrated Malcolm Jr's birthday, he was 51..... oh where has time gone .. We had a supper here with Kate, Scott Susan and ourselves and he wanted Hallo donuts for dessert. lol instead of cake well its like cake .
Tomorrow My dear old Friend from Saint John is coming to Moncton with her sister in law, Mary Jayne was my Maid of honour at our wedding but we have been friends since we were little, before we even started school. Lost touch for awhile with both moving to different areas We are on the hunt for A dress for Sandra for her daughters wedding. Then its lunch at Milestones. A good old girls day, so glad we can do that again.
I dont think I mentioned before but our granddaughter Kate is expecting a baby in April. Last week her Mom had a lovely shower for her and she got lots of lovely gifts. She is finished working now until after maternity leave next year.
Kate and her boyfriend have apartment not far from us. I am sure we will get lots of calls and visits when Susan working.
Garret got himself a new Toyota truck, he loves it. Doing it all on his own and we are very proud of him , he works at the hospital in construction building the addition to the hospital, on weekends he is at the Gym working along side his brother Trent and he goes to firefighters class as a volunteer 1 night a week. No girlfriend that we know of but he is a quiet one, dont get much out of him. lol.
Trent is struggling to finish up his last year of engineering and he has struggled with it but I am confident he will come out of this and get a good job. Time will tell. He has his girlfriend Vero who is a lab tech at George Dumont Hospital. They have been together a few years now.
This week Malcolm's brother and and Mickie dropped in for a cup of tea while up to moncton after quite awhile.
My friend Pat Daley got home after 70 days in hospital with covid, she is doing great and we are all so happy to see her back in her apartment.. Plan on visiting very shortly.
Also had lunch with Edna and Reed this past week. It was a good week for sure.. Life is coming back.
Paula and Laurie and Bella are still in Myrtle beach till around the 23rd or so. Its been different this year for them with us not going down but they did get a lot of golf in with friends Liz and Gary but no sequence games. I told them to take the game down but No they said, not if we aren't there. lol...
Well hope this brings you all up to date a bit. Can't wait for the golf starts up here in Moncton. I can get back to walking outside with Sandy and lose some weight. Covid roll is no fun., lol
