Well we spent a week celebrating our day, had a family dinner at Fred’s restaurant and returned to the house for a cake which had the original wedding top
We received some lovely gifts from family and friends and got to see our maid of honour and best man that weekend Mary Jayne Lowe Tucker and George MacKenney
These are two gifts received, first one from pat Daley, long time friend and just so happened that Pat and Kenneth were married the same day as us, same year.
Second gift a memory box from my maid of honour and Boyd, first thing that went in were our beautiful cards. We also got money from from the kids, gifts cards from Edna and Reed and Lois and Dave, long time friends as well and an orchid from friends Bill and Sandy.
On the actual day of our anniversary we went to St Andrews , N B. And was accomplied by friends Paula and Laurie and Bella and we enjoyed a great weekend, great meals, shopping and golf and of course sequence and then they surprised us with a cake and gift, picture of the four of us together taken in Myrtle Beach which now becomes a memory for us all as no entrance to USA with covid still very active in the states. We are all in for a winter wonderland in our home
It was a great 50 years and thank you all for the well wishes by so many on Facebook. Dreams do come true.
