Found an old album of Mom's , had lots of pictures in it and wanted to see a few on to my cousins of
their family that were taken probably by Mom.

Funny I can remember so much of my life as a young girl but seems like later memories after we left our home
town and started our adventures in different cities, and provinces, time flew and here we are almost 70. 

Enjoy these years for sure doing what you want, life is short.  Keep those memories alive.

Memories of my mom

Today my cousin Brenda wrote me and sent a photo of my Mom as a young girl in her aunts wedding, mom is the child on the right, her cousins standing up in the wedding of my great aunt Pearl to her husband Lee murchison, what a gift to receive .  I never had a photo of mom as a young girl. Thank you Brenda so much.

The second photo is the Royal Hotel back probably in the 40’s And believe it or not it’s as I remember the front entrance back in my early years in the 50’s.  I remember entering the front door and to the right a small canteen with newspapers out front, right to the left of that canteen through a door was the switchboard operated by one lady and I was so amazed at how she transferred those calls through to rooms, dining room etc.

Now I show you the menu at the dining room and believe me it was quite the dining room.  The prices will amaze you.
