gals celebrate ...
Last night we dropped over to Susan's to say Happy Birthday, Several of
Sue's friends dropped in to wish her a happy birthday . They were enjoying a
nice evening in the gazebo.
We snapped a few pictures and had to have one with our daughter . I remember
the day she entered this world making our family complete with a boy and a girl,
a millionaire's family as they say.

Memorial
Trent and I decided to drive down to see the memorial for the 3 officers shot in the line of duty here
in Moncton, a beautiful peaceful place to walk and stop a moment to honor these brave men.
You can also walk along the waterfront there and sit on a bench and relax away from all the busy of down town.
Just happened the day we went down the three officers in Dallas were being buried that day.

Visit from friends
Nice visit from our friends in Miramichi, Edna and Reed. I just happened to have
a rubarb pie in freezer so out it came for a treat, (don't often see something homemade from me).
Edna is the cook but I was glad to have that pie in the freezer. lol
Well I was disappointed to miss the St John the Baptist reunion this weekend but didn't make it,
hopefully sometime when I am in Sain John I can get together with a few of them for coffee.
Linda, Mike, Patsy, Mike's wife? Eldon McGraw, Patsy L, Mr. Comeau....lol He became a very young teacher at St Mac's..
I was in a picture by the way but Mr. Mac had it on video....oh he needs a few lessons. lol

Murals
These paintings done by this talented French street artist Patrick Commecy. Together with his team, he creates huge murals of hyper-realistic facades that bring blank and boring city walls to life.
What’s interesting here is that while these realistic yet fake facades trick you at first glance, some of the people painted there were once real.
Can you imagine the beauty in a small town if you were visiting the area, the talent is something else. Found these on a blog I visit regularly and had to share.

The weekend..............
Car show in Moncton , the Nationals are held every year and despite the weather I guess they had a good turnout. We didn't get to the downtown but seen several old cars on the road all over the city.
Susan invited me to go to the Lacrosse practice for Garret in Saint John and although it was a late
practice we headed out at 4 o'clock for the Gorman rink. Luckily the rink was just around the corner from hospital so surprised my aunt Marg for an evening visit and she was surprised. Found her looking great and she was excited with the goodies we brought her. She was really pleased to see Susan with me. So happy we got a surprise visit in.
On Monday the girls in Miramichi were celebrating Helen's birthday for lunch and I would have loved to be with them, Pat sent me a picture right away and wanted me to know she took my place taking a camera with her...great job Pat and Happy birthday Helen, heard you had one of our favorites, turkey dinner.............. They must have known it was your birthday.
