It was another great visit with friends from Hearts Delight Nfld, and so glad they came to Moncton to visit
us and see the City we call home.

Daniel was not shy a all, walked right in and was at home.  Lori's Mom made a delicious Partridgeberry pound cake and it
was so delicious, need the recipe except blueberries will have to be the fruit of choice.

We all had  a great visit to the zoo and  it really changed since I brought my grandchildren. First visit for Daniel and
he knew a lot of the animals .

Great friends, great visit......

Had a great BBQ for the July birthdays on Mac's birthday and it was  a lovely evening.   Its been a busy month but the cake was delicious as usual, chocolate cake with boiled icing...

one of these years Sue and Garret will win out with an ice cream cake. lol

The boys have been busy with lacrosse preparing for the Nationals and a big thank you to all who
were so supportive with the boys fun raising, they reached their goals.

Middle Island

Middle Island was beautiful, we looked at many of the benches donated by family members and knew a lot of them.

Pat sits on the bench donated by the Daley gathering a few years ago. 

The hedge around the monument is in the shape of a shamrock, very pretty .

We seen a wedding there and the wedding party had green on and the men had green ties.

You will see the bench in honor of Kevin Vickers this year.

We had a great time at the Irish festival and looking at all the crests of family names, Pat Daley found a lot of namesfrom her ancestors and I did want her to stand under the Daley Clan Party house but she would not bite... bet she is sorry now. lol

We walked around middle island following the festival, first time I have been there but really enjoyed our time there.

The weekend also included some garage sales and that was so much fun.

Happy birthday to my husband Mac, have a great day golfing.....

 

weekend in Miramichi

 

Went up to Miramichi to visit the gals I worked with, stayed with Pat D and attended a beautiful BBQ put on by Edna and Reed.......We had lots of laughs throughout the evening and had to model the aprons Edna had from Mexico.  Edna gave me the red gingham one and I love it.  Malcolm always says I need a apron as food ends up on me everytime I eat. lol

 

Met Mary D for lunch at the Rodd and we spent 2 hours with her , it was so good to see her.

 

I was so glad I went on the weekend of Irish Festival, Pat and I had a great time there and Middle Island..... Pictures tomorrow to share.

The plants are growing so good this year and they are beautiful. Just love looking at them out on patio
and each day is so beautiful to sit and enjoy a coffee in the morning.

Another beautiful day, Sandy over for coffee and Garret got breakfast in bed...... lol He fell asleep after breakfast
and slept till after 12.

A recall from Costco this morning on stuffed chicken breast, could not believe they were able to call everyone who bought that chicken in the store and please return for full refund. Whow.. So UI am headed to Costco lol.

Lots to do before I head to Miramichi this weekend.....fun time with the  girls.
