A night at Rama and Anitha's

We were invited to Anitha and Rama's for a delicious salmon supper and it was so.............good.
We went early and the guys had a chance to relax with a drink before supper.

Sequence game followed and for a chance the women won, Yeah.... a first .  We were spot on tonight
and the guys just could not beat us. lol

Last golf game at Barefoot today...... its been a great month just driving down the road to the course.

Well lots of pictures today as we enjoy a farewell dinner with friends leaving this week, going to miss you all.
Gary and Liz were unable to attend but we will catch them before they go.

We all gathered at a restaurant we never been before but Debbie and Kirk found it, recommended it and they were
certainly right about a great place to eat....We all enjoyed it and will put it on the list as places to go. Friendly staff goes along with great food.

We also got a couple more sequence players this year, Rick and Lucy had played before so got a couple of games in with them, we let the guys win but watch out next year....your in for a beating. lol

Trees are all blooming

Well looks like the trees are blooming one day and flowers are all over the place and allergies are bothering some people .

If you want  to entertain down here than head to Costco, lol  15 minutes for a roast beef supper in microwave and 5 min total for potatoes and you get gravy too.... We all wish they had this at Costco home.  Oh you can buy the bag of salad of course and the tomatoes etc for an added touch...

Rain all night but golfers are out there ready to go again, especially for those leaving next week.

Anitha and Rama have their company from North Carolina so a few of us played sequence last night and again as usual the guys won but whatever makes them happy. lol

Walk through Barefoot

An evening stroll through Barefoot landing made for a lovely evening dropping in a few of the little gift shops along the way. 

The sky was so beautiful on our return that we snapped a few pictures, the condo's you see in the last picture is where home will be next year for us.

Gang who came for a month are preparing to leave, we will miss them for sure, had so many laughs will them. Got to have another summer get together this year..

Spa day

We always make a point to go to Walmart to take advantage of the spa service we sure wish was available back in Walmart's home, $20.00 for a pedicure  not only for your feet but sitting in a massage chair at same time.  Now what more could you ask for. lol 

The gal asked me if I would like some art work done on big toe, WHY NOT..... so with tiny little brushes she draws a design free hand.. whow  We were impressed.

Anitha and I went to other end of town yesterday, probably near 25 miles each way, don't get to that end to often but more and more stores going up there as well. Khols store of course is down that end and have to go to Khols. lol  Also a Hamricks  store  which brings people in by the bus loads and good prices .

Another sequence game tonight, woman got to win eventually...lol

Friday night we went to the church supper and it was lovely.... crowds were there from all over and the church have the layout so organized that your in and out in no time.

 

After the meal we went around to the peace garden where each of us had a picture taken under the tree of life (as we called it)... its beautiful out there.  The garden is between the church and the hall.

 

The good catholics that we all are we went home after and played sequence.....lol a board game we love to play. 

 

Said a prayer for Uncle Don and Aunt Marg who both are in hospital back home. Our thoughts are with you guys........   

The Cats..............

Twice a day The tigers arrive from The Safari  now the Safari is a tour which would cost you 299.00 per person to take seeing many animals of the jungle but you can come to barefoot to see the cats for free BUT...if you would like a picture there with them the cost is 75.00 for one person and 25.00 for each additional person.. think I'll stick to photos we took here. lol

We were there just before closing and the tigers were moved into kennels and loaded into vans waiting....you should have hear the howls out of them..

Weather a little cool toay, heading down south with Anitha and Haritha to check out things..

200 people attended the dinner

Was a delicious meal and I think everyone enjoyed the evening to the fullest.  Green beer went along with the meal and a lot of extra food was on the buffet for anyone who did not care for corn beef.

An evening of fun and Irish music was enjoyed by all but I don't know where Kirk went to..... has anyone seen Kirk?

After the fun was over we dropped in to see Anitha and Rama who had their daughter Haritha, Bob and Aaron visiting from Ottawa and they all were  in their green. 

Oh there is Kirk................you were hiding on me but Lucy found you. lol
