Gary and Liz in Myrtle Beach

"Well finally" Gary says, I get on Pats Coffee Shop.  Its been awhile since we seen Gary and Liz, Christmas time in Moncton to be exact so its good to see them here just before we leave for home.

Anitha and Rama's family are leaving in the morning and Paula and Laurie are off on Saturday, we will be ready on Tuesday especially after hearing about snow today in our area. Yuk..

Just some of the wild life you may see when you golf Oyster Bay Golf course.  I guess some of the golf balls land pretty handy to these guys.

Well Folks its Friday and as you know I do not post on weekends, Monday we will be busy packing and Tuesday hitting the road so I will probably not be on this week.......Catch up with you from Moncton...

Supper at Olive Garden

 

As we prepare to leave Myrtle Beach for yet another year we decided on supper  at Olive Gardens.

The special was a choice of one of 5 meals for 12.99 BUT you then get another meal to take home

for supper the next evening, not a bad deal at all.

Now I am not big on pasta so my choice for the evening was shrimp so I didn't get a take out but shared Mac's spaghetti he brought home  and honestly I could not believe how good it was , sure didn't taste like any I have ever tasted but I'll order it again for sure.

Last night we took on the guys for a last game of sequence and yes the gals won....yeah 7-3 finally we had a successful night.

Tonight going to get together with Gary and Liz, Gary is really enjoying retirement although right now it seems like an extended vacation.

Possum Trot Golf Course

A golf game at Possum Trot for Paula, Laurie, Rama and Mac brought a few critters out to see if they were serving lunch.  These little guys will actually peel the banana like we do but they love nuts. lol

Last night Gary and Liz arrived so we all got together for a fun evening, they are just across the road from us.  Going to get together for a few suppers before we all leave here.

Friday probably last golf game before heading home.

Finally got my cousin Claire in Az last night, we talked about an hour.... they just celebrated their 50th wedding Anniversary..

PGA Store Myrtle Beach

James Birthday
 

Renovations were complete on the new PGA Store (formally Martins) this weekend.  As an opening special they had numerous give aways including free golf, hats, golf clubs and cash cards which Mac, Paula and Laurie and myself got.

In the picture you see the three of them with their treasures, Laurie a belt, Paula golf towels and Mac holding his prize and mine --Bridgestone e6 golf balls- bonus packs, which you can tell by his smile he was a happy golfer.

We were invited over to Anitha and Rama's for James birthday for birthday Aryanna made for her dad.  It was a great evening.

We woke early for EASTER in Myrtle Beach and headed to Mass at the local church, I could not believe
the crowd , there was not a seat left as mass started and people were in hallway and along side of the church. There
were 4 masses this morning, the last mass at 1:30 was in Spanish.

Mr Bunny was up and out the door at 7 o'clock making local deliveries and we found a parcel in our
closet for our easter hunt from a couple of bunnies down the road.

Spoke to all our family for easter on Skype and ipod and even though they are older now they still enjoy
a visit from the bunny.  They are having dinner with the other grandparents and also Rob's grandmother will be
there.

After church we were invited to Anitha and Rama's for dinner, a nice chicken dinner and a chance to hear all about the goodies their grandchildren received from the easter bunny..

My cousin sent me these two old photo's she had, the first photo is Dad with the white shoes, his brother Bill and Bill's two son's Buddy and Jack.

In the second picture you see ME.... probably sitting at Tin Can Beach, the beach Dad usually took me too handy to the house.

Also Happy Birthday to James, who is visiting Anitha and Rama from Dartmouth.

Another game of golf today before the rain.  This is good Friday so remember fish today, always remember heading to market actually every Friday with Dad for fish for supper, it was his specialty.

Good morning, not much to report from Myrtle beach today, it was chilly .

 

Every place seems busy at Tangers, think there must be a Spring break as a lot of

students around.  We ran into the Nikes store and boy it was crowded.

 

Problems with the elevator and now the door so hope by morning it is fixed or have no idea

how we get back in, lol we were lucky when Paula came, she hollered and I heard her to let her in. We had a game of sequence and the guys really did a number on us, we won first game....that was it..

 

Another golf day......Anitha's brother leaves today.

 

Anitha's brother comes to Myrtle Beach

 

It has been 9 years since Anitha seen her brother and it was so wonderful that he was able to come

to Myrtle Beach for a visit while visiting his daughter in Chicago.

 

We had a great evening with all the family and the children sure brighten made us laugh especially when Grampy Mac found a few of their favorites to hide.

 

We also heard from our family back home that our grandson Trent got the most sportsman award for hockey and also did an interview today IWK..... I would love to hear it.

Johnny Rockets (Broadway)

We stopped into Johnny Rockets while down at Broadway for a drink, remembering old times we
had  there years ago just going to enjoy the entertainment put on by the waiters and waitresses.  Today its not the same, they use to get up on empty tables dancing but not today..

Its raining today and suppose to be heave winds so no plans and of course I got a cold again so may be a lazy day. 

Anitha was excited to see her brother last year so hope to get to meet him and snap a few pictures of them.

barefoot with the children

Anitha called that they were at Barefoot so I dropped by after leaving Walmart.  Anupama had lunch all made when I arrived so we all sat on picnic table and enjoyed.

The kids got a kick out of the mirrors that make you look thinner or shorter, you cannot help but have a laugh.  We also enjoyed the Christmas shop and the children liked the rock store.

Well we enjoyed watching the masters and seeing Baba win the green jacket and sharing the moment with his son.  Today is Monday after the masters here in Myrtle Beach and Hootie and the blow fish (Music group) has been here all weekend at the House of Blues and of course John Daley is here along with other celebrities.  Tickets to the event sold the first day.

Have myself another cold, have no idea why all of a sudden I am having these colds, never had any in ages.  Oh well does not put me down. lol
 

Tigers in Barefoot...

 

 

Just down the road from where we all stay is Barefoot landing and has many cute little shops to visit and you may find some treasure .  Today Malcolm and I went for a walk down there and seen the

tigers, the big tigers and the babies.  People were all gathered to snap pictures.

 

 

 We dropped down to see the pictures Paula and Laurie and his brother Gary took at Disney, over 400 pictures. lol

Mac made potato skins and had coconut cake for everyone in the evening and we had lots of laughs.
