Good bye 2015 Happy New Year 2016

Well another year comes to a close and from all our family we wish you a Very happy 2016.

2015 was certainly a year we will never forget as we shared special times with our family and friends,Kate's graduation which I know she will always remember the support she received from many of you along her journey, the boys having great times in their lacrosse and hockey games,
A trip to Quebec, Ontario and of course Myrtle beach......all adventures that will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Having a few trips to see old friends in Miramichi and of course not forgetting our time spent with dear friends we have known a lifetime....Mary Jayne, Hubert and Lois...Lynda always taking the time to drop in when returning from her visit each year from Calgary.

And of course for some of us the loss of special friends and family members, dealt with sickness and a rough year for Uncle Donnie who still remains in hospital but hope only for only better health in 2016 for everyone.

Thank you for all your memories...........

A trip to Saint John with Kate to see Uncle Don, poor guy is really not feeling any better and of
course with Christmas season upon us he is feeling lonely.

We quickly dropped into Titus's bakery for Brownies for the Cormier's, Someone has already been into my stash in freezer but then again that is what Edna made them for to share with the grandchildren. lol

Took Kate home before heading for our shingles shot..... from what we hear its the last thing you want to get so trying to prevent that one at any cost.

Gibert gets groomed for christmas

Gilbert looks great after a nice grooming before coming to Nanny and Grampie's for the weekend.
Kate had him posing for a few pictures.

When I woke Saturday to let Gilbert out I found him very comfortable up with Garret, he loves his
family so much he is never far from them.

A beautiful supper with Bill and Sandy and Dave and Anna before a game of sequence, women came close but lost by 1 game.

A stormy day out there today so I lazy day to relax and catch up on a few movies........

Lunch at Moxie's

It was great to see Lucy and Rick and join them for lunch, we live so far from each other, lol.

We spent 2 1/2 hrs catching up and both looking forward to heading south for Feb....  We were planning on going the end of January but changes had to be made so heading out later part of Feb.

Trent went to St Andrews for the weekend to play in hockey tournament and they won the championship, it was a wonderful weekend for them.  On the way home Sue, Rob and Trent dropped in to see uncle Don, he was surprised and glad to see them. Lisa was a visitor earlier so guess he had a good Sunday...  Hope he is able to be out for Christmas.

Visit with Edna and Reed

Edna and Reed came to town from Miramichi and brought me a beautiful  gift,
a great arrangements of sweets for the holiday season..... scotch cakes, peanut butter cookies, brownies (which a little girl found)..lol just to name a few.  Of course Edna always includes a
few of her knitting treats as well..  Thank you from the bottom of my heart Edna and Reed.

It was really a joke when I made sure I got  a pound cake for the table, I know Edna does enjoy
a piece of my homemade cooking straight from Sobey's...lol

Looks like Uncle Don will be home again by the end of the week, feeling better but still swelling
and more results of tests next week.  He thought he would be in hospital for Christmas so good news for him.
